Looking for a unique space to host your dinner party, bridal/baby shower, wedding, or other event? City House is just the place for you! This historic home located on the banks of the Susquehanna River is an ideal setting to host your event.

City House is available to accommodate the following in the downstairs common area:

  • Dining room dinner party - up to 13 guests around one table
  • Buffet reception - seating throughout the house for up to 35 guests
  • Buffet/Cocktail social - up to 50 guests
  • Indoor/Outdoor event - up to 75 guests

City House Layout:

  • Living Room - seats 16-18
  • Dining Room - seats 6-13
  • Sun Room - seats 11
  • Terrace - table for 6 provided (space available for additional tables)
  • Yard Space - seating depends on type of set-up - tent, tables, & chairs can be rented from an outside event company

City House Fees:

  • Hourly Rate = $75.00/hour (minimum 3 hour event)
  • add Yard & Terrace Space = $40.00/hour (minimum 3 hour event)
  • add Kitchen Preparation Area = $25.00/hour (minimum 3 hour event)
  • add China Package = $2.00 per setting (includes dinner & desert plate, silverware, napkins, clear plastic cups, wine glasses)
  • add Cake Table with linen - 30" x 30" = $5.00
  • add 4' Table with linen = $7.00
  • add 6' Table with linen = $10.00

Event parking is located in the Miller's Mutual Insurance lot 1/2 block from City House at the corner of Front & Forster Street. The address is: 805 N Front St, Harrisburg, PA 17102  One parking space is available at the house for event drop-off & pick-up.
